Vetti Payyan is a movie freak and use to watch all sorts of movies. Well, this post is about how I got to watch the recent telugu hit Pokiri staring Mahesh Babu and Illeana. When I was downloading the songs of this movie, incidentally (Note iNciDenTalLY :)) I got hold of some video clips and seeing Illeana running like Manisha, we (me along with my friends) decided to go for the movie the same day. Despite the fact that we reached the theatre two hours before, there was a very big crowd around already. Hmm getting reminded by the song clips we also joined the crowd, however our efforts soon ended up in vain. Ticket kedaikalabba, but wasting no time we started to hunt for tickets (BLACK) outside the theatre and this time we were successful, yes we got the tickets. Our entry pass is ready now and having one more hour for the movie we all went to a nearby hotel and had our dinner.



About the movie, Pokiri is a mix of action and love, in a wild mafia backdrop. Mahesh, a street-smart boy with his long hair has a perfect rugged look – apt for the movie. And his performance was awesome, and pretty much Illeana was osSssOm too. It is the high voltage action scenes, and the songs which keep us glued to the chair. I wish the director had my perception and had more stuff taught by Illeana, (FYI Illeana is an aerobics teacher in this movie) instead of the comedy track which goes entirely detached from the movie. Though the climax was an old one, I totally enjoyed this movie.
